People who deposited their money in Sahara Group Cooperative Societies can claim for refund of their deposits with the help of this portal. Earlier, one could apply only for up to Rs 10,000 on this portal, but now investors can claim up to Rs 5 lakh. It has been said on the portal, ‘We are currently accepting applications again for claims up to Rs 5,00,000. Application dates for claims above Rs 5,00,000 will be announced later. How to register on Sahara India Refund Portal?
According to the Sahara Refund Portal, re-submission is now being accepted for Rs 5 lakh. Let us tell you that the re-submitted claims will be processed within 45 working days. Also, the date for other claims will be announced soon. As of July 16, 2024, a refund of Rs 362.91 crore has been made to more than 4.2 lakh investors of the Sahara Group. To register on the Sahara India Refund Portal, you have to follow the steps given below:
Step-1: For Sahara India refund, you have to visit CRCS-Sahara Refund portal (https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/depositor/#/home).
Step-2: Here you will get the option of depositor registration for registration. You have to click on it.
Step-3: For registration, you will have to enter the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number and the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card.
Step-4: Now after entering the captcha, you have to click on Get OTP. After this, OTP will come on your registered number, with the help of which you will have to verify. After this the registration process will be completed.
How to apply for Sahara India Refund
After registering on the Sahara Refund portal, you have to login. For re-submission, you have to follow the steps given below:
Step-1: After going to the login page, you have to enter the CRN number. After this, you have to enter the captcha code and validate it through OTP. Then you have to accept the terms of UIDAI.
Step-2: After this you have to navigate to the page containing personal details. After entering the personal details here, you have to complete the e-KYC verification. You have to enter OTP for e-KYC verification.
Step-3: Now you have to go to the Claims detail page. You can make claims here. You can also edit claims. Finally, the updated details have to be submitted here.
Step-4: Now go to the document upload section and upload all the necessary documents here. Then proceed after uploading.
Step-5: Now the re-submission form will be generated. After downloading this form, take a printout of it. Then you have to upload it again by taking a photo and signing it. Then click on the OK Proceed button.
Step-6: The submission details have to be verified on the Acknowledgment and Receipt Page page. In this way you can claim for Sahara refund. Please note that the acknowledgment number is also sent to your registered number via SMS to confirm the submission.
Step-7: If everything goes well, the refund process will be completed within 45 working days. The money will be transferred directly to your bank account.

Step-1: After visiting CRCS-Sahara Refund portal (https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/depositor/#/home) for Sahara India Refund, you will get the option of Depositor Registration. After registering here, you have to login.
